Dear Philadelphia-serving Grantee Partners:

I wanted to share a few resources being made available by Philadelphia School Partnership, which are available to organizations engaged in summer youth programming in Philadelphia. These resources are to assist you in recruiting staff for summer 2021 programs.

Free Job Postings
The TeachPHL.org website, which normally posts school-related jobs in the city of Philadelphia, is adding a summer job board for schools and other summer youth services providers. You can post any type of Philadelphia-based summer job on this board for free. TeachPHL will promote the summer job board via social media and other means. To post, please go to the link, Summer Job Post Form for instructions. Applicants will be able to submit applications and/or resumes directly to your organization.

Free Neighborhood Job Fairs
PCCY is working on a plan to host approximately five (5) neighborhood-based, in-person job fairs in different regions of the city. PCCY and Philadelphia School Partnership are aiming for these to occur in outdoor locations during the weeks of May 10 and May 17. There will be no cost to employers to occupy a booth. Advertising, PR and social media will drive traffic to the fairs.

Fingerprinting Service
Expedited fingerprinting service will be brought to various communities around the City to help organizations get newly hired staff cleared and ready for youth engagement quickly. There is a $23 fingerprinting fee perapplicant.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

My Best,
Mindy
